The Rev. Dr. Dawn Enderwood recently retired as Pastor of Lord of Life Lutheran Church (ELCA), Edmond, after 18 years of service. During her tenure the church embarked on a building program, increased outreach and children’s ministries, and increased membership. Following retirement, her hope was to work as in interim ministry specialist. She says, “I look forward to working with St. John congregation, a church with deep roots in the OKC community. An important part of our ministry together will center on getting to know each other. Think of my office at St. John as a welcome place. Come and visit.”

Rev. Dawn currently serves on the Board of Oaks Indian Mission, Oaks OK; the Dialogue Institute Advisory Board, OKC; and is the Boundary Trainer (sexual abuse) for the Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod (ELCA). She is a Spiritual Care Disaster Responder through the Oklahoma Conference of Churches. Rev. Dawn also leads a weekly “Women’s Conversation” group at the Raindrop House for women whose second language is English.

Rev. Dawn grew up on the prairies of Kansas, where her father was a rancher. She has three adult daughters living the in OKC area. Quinn teaches English and chemistry in an OKC Public School alternative high school. Rachel is the vice president of account management for a medical asset consulting company. Anne is a licensed professional counselor in Edmond. Rev. Dawn lives in Edmond with her Goldendoodle Daisy.
