New Here?

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been going to church forever, or if you've been thinking about visiting a church for the first time, there is a welcoming place for you here at St. John’s. But, we bet you have a lot of questions! Let’s see if we can answer some of them for you …

Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:15 am and lasts about an hour. The centerpiece of our worship is the Holy Eucharist, also called “Communion” or “the Lord’s Supper” and all baptized believers are welcome to participate, regardless of your faith background. Our worship service is full of rich tradition, with music from choral anthems and congregational hymns to more contemporary songs accompanied by guitar, readings from scripture, a short sermon and prayers from the Book of Common Prayer. You are welcome to bring your babies and “littles” with you into the service. We love the sounds of children in worship!

Folks wear a variety of attires. We would love for you to come however you feel comfortable. Don't worry about not knowing what to do. There is always a bulletin to help you know where you are in the service, and you can watch others to follow along or just observe.

Parking is plentiful, and you can check here for directions. For more information about Sunday School you can check here. For more information about our mission, you can check here. Information about our Staff can be found here.

You will find a warm welcome at St. John’s, and we would be honored if you would join us!
